TOLEDO, Ohio -
We have an update on the SkyCop program being rolled out in Toledo. Police Chief Derrick Diggs says at least 20 cameras have been installed across the city so far.
Those cameras will be part of a network of 150 cameras being installed in Toledo to monitor high crime areas.
Officers plan to monitor the live feeds to stop crimes in progress.
There is no word on when the cameras will be operational.
Memphis, Tennessee has a similar system that police say leads to an average of 100 arrests each year.
