A woman from Delta died Wednesday morning after being hit by a car on Airport Highway, just past Toledo Express Airport.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Stephanie Nash, 42, was walking in the roadway of Airport Highway when she was hit by a passing car.
Troopers say David Walter, 32 from Napoleon was driving eastbound on Airport highway when he hit Nash. Napoleon then went to a the Ohio State Highway Patrol to report the crash.
Nash was pronounced dead at the scene. It's still unclear why she was walking in the road.
The crash shutdown Airport Highway for hours overnight but has since reopened.
