North Ontario St. is blocked off at the intersection of Columbus St. while Toledo city crew work to tear down a house that caught fire early this morning. Firefighters were called out to the home just after 3:00 a.m. According to crews on the scene, neighbors report one man lived inside the home. Firefighters say that man was not inside at the time of the blaze.
Crews were able to quickly contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring houses. The home was a total loss and crews are working to demolish it. Arson investigators are looking into what sparked the fire.
