Nintendo Wii U announcement set for September 13

It could be the item on a lot of holiday gift lists, the Nintendo Wii U.

The new game system is the successor to Nintendo's Wii which debuted in 2006. The Wii U is expected to use dual screens, one on the television console and one on the controller.

Not much information has been released about the next generation of Nintendo video gaming, however industry experts believe the game system will run around $250. 

Nintendo is set to make announcements about pricing and availability on September 13th just in time for the holiday shopping season.
