ROSSFORD, Ohio -

A Rossford man has been indicted on arson charges. Jan Ortega, 19, was in an Oak Street home in Rossford just before it broke out in flames back in August. He returned to the scene where he was later arrested.

His mother, Cynthia, was in the home when the fire started. She was not injured, but the house was destroyed and later leveled.

Ortega was indicted Wednesday on two arson charges as well as a charge of felonious assault and possession of drugs.
