Gamblers losing hope at Ohio casinos

Posted: Updated:

Reps with Ohio's Casino Control Commission say people are starting to wager a little less at the new casinos.

Hollywood Casino Toledo brought in nearly &152 million dollars from slots, paying out about 91%.

That's actually down about $14 million dollars from last month.

The casino also saw a slight drop in table game spending which fell about 11%.

But Toledo is leading the way when it comes to slot machines.

Casino-goers in the Glass City spent more money than in Cleveland.

But Cleveland gamblers upped the stakes outspending Toledoans by $26 million when it came to table games.
