SANDUSKY, Ohio -

A 41-year-old man is in jail charged with the murders of a Sandusky mom and her two young kids over the weekend.

Police say the mother and the suspect have been friends since the man was released from prison in February.

The victim's brother says the man accused of killing his sister, niece, and nephew should face the death penalty.

"I'd like to kill him myself," says Nick Fee. "If they give it to him, I'm more than happy to watch."

Fee says he does not know 41-year-old Curtis Clinton, the man police say apparently strangled his sister, 23-year-old Heather Jackson, and her two young kids over the weekend.

Police found Jackson between a mattress and bed springs in her home on John Street. Three-year-old Celina and 18-month-old Wayne were found inside a closet.

Police say Clinton and Jackson have been friends since Clinton was released from prison. He served sentences for felonious assault and involuntary manslaughter convictions in 1999 in Wood County.

The Wood County prosecutor says Clinton pleaded guilty in the strangulation death of 18-year-old Misty Keckler. He was just released in February.

"To the best of our knowledge, he was invited into the home. He was a friend. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence," says Sandusky Police Lieutenant John Orzech.

Clinton has also been charged with one count of rape from an incident earlier last week in an unrelated case.

He is due in court Tuesday morning.
