SYLVANIA - Lourdes softball team will take to the field each of the next two weekends, including this Saturday, as the Gray Wolves play fall games at Siena Heights in Adrian, Mich.
The Gray Wolves, which will be making their program debut, will face Macomb Community College at 9 a.m. this Saturday followed by games against Jackson Community College and Henry Ford Community College.
"We are excited to get on the field and play another opponent," head coach Jo Ann Gordon said. "This will give us the opportunity to see where we are and what we need to do to get to where we want to be."
Lourdes will return to Adrian on Saturday, Sept. 22 for three more games. The Gray Wolves will play Lake Michigan Community College in the opener at 9 a.m. before facing NCAA Division I foe Oakland University at 11 a.m. The fall slate wraps up with a contest against Adrian College.
Gordon's squad has been practicing for just over a week already this fall. The Gray Wolves will open the regular season in early March on their spring break trip to Florida.
