A four-month-old Sandusky girl is fighting for her life as police investigate what they believe is a case of child abuse.
Logan Wilson is an intensive care of suffering bleeding on the brain, possible retina damage and broken rib and femur.
Erie County Deputies believe the baby lived at 217 Scott Street in Sandusky. Authorities are investigating a number of people, including the child's parents.
The police report indicates Daphne Waters, the child's mother, brought little Logan to Firelands Hospital back in late August.
Emergency crews took the infant from Firelands to ProMedica Toledo Hospital where the baby was place in the Intensive Care Unit. Toledo doctors suspected child abuse after reviewing the very serious injuries.
Both parents, Daphne Waters and Willie Nelson, are charged with felony assault and endangering a child. Two other adults face the same charges, one a part-time babysitter, according to police. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
