Tiffin man charged in February stabbing

A Tiffin man faces charges for allegedly stabbing another man during a fight.

The Advertiser Tribune reports, 40 year-old James Hayes III is charged with two counts of felonious assault.

Officers say Hayes stabbed a man in February in the parking lot of Stiney's Three Oaks Tavern on Second Street.

42 year-old Brian Armbruster was air lifted to a Toledo Hospital.

Hayes is expected to be arraigned this week.

    One woman is in the hospital after an early morning fire. The fire started at a duplex on Vance street. Investigators say the home might need to be demolished. When crews arrived on the scene flames were shooting from the roof. The cause is still under investigation.

Police say Kenneth Collins, 20, was found unconscious inside of a car on North Reynolds early Saturday morning.Investigators say a passerby flagged down a trooper who found Collins inside of the car. Collins later died at the hospital.
