Jenny Whitaker's four-year-old daughter Cara is suffers from Dravet's Syndrome, a rare condition that Whitaker says has been a roller coaster ride for the family.
"It's interrupted birthday parties, unexpected trips to the hospital sometimes prolonged hospital stays...just every second of every day is consumed."
The rare condition causes frequent seizures and Whitaker started the DSF Steps for a Cure walk to raise money and awareness for Dravet's Syndrome and also to connect with other families coping with the condition.
