Maumee police say one person was airlifted to a hospital after a motorcycle crash on I-475. It happened in the southbound lanes near the Anthony Wayne Trail.
Police say two vehicles were involved in the crash, which brought southbound traffic to a standstill. The lanes have reopened, but traffic was still moving slow Monday evening.
The motorcyclist survived but sustained serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
