Both presidential candidates have planned stops in the Toledo area next week in their effort to move ahead in the battleground state of Ohio.
President Obama and Mitt Romney will both be in the Toledo area on Wednesday. An Obama campaign official confirms the president will be in Bowling Green and will also be making a stop in Kent, Ohio.
President Obama's Ohio team launched the "Uniquely Ohio" initiative today, highlighting the "unique" ways the president's policies have improved Ohio's cities.
Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan will be wooing Ohioans during a three-day bus tour across the state. Romney will stop in Toledo on Wednesday, along with stops in Dayton and Columbus.
Paul Ryan kicks off the tour with a stop in Lima on Monday and a visit to Cincinnati on Tuesday. Additional details about the tour have not been released.
Ohio is considered crucial for the Romney camp. No Republican has ever taken the White House without winning the Buckeye State.
Details on getting tickets to see President Obama have not been released yet.
