Local business recognized for growing success

WOOD COUNTY, Ohio -

Stadium Salsa and Marsha's Homemade Buckeye's are sharing the spot light this week as two businesses that continue to grow and a create jobs in Ohio.

 Greg Shepard says homemade salsa was just something he brought to tailgate parties. Today Stadium Salsa is sold at stores all through the Midwest. Greg says they've continued to grow by giving customers what they want.

"Secretary Of State John Husted has supported local business and we were humbled by it, we were very happy that they gave us a call and profiled us," Said Shepard

But if you're craving something sweet Marsha's Homemade Buckeyes should hit the spot. A business that started in a family basement has now grown to employ over 30 people.

 "We started here in Perrysburg. Then it grew to different regions of the state and then to the regions of the country they secretary of state and the governor are doing what they can to support us. To provide jobs to continue to grow. To do what we do," Said Brad Smith

Both businesses were featured in Secretary of State John Husted's Ohio Business Profile.
