GENOA, Ohio (WTVG) -- Tonight's the big homecoming game against Lake High School in Genoa, and officers will be out in force.
Ottawa County deputies and troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol are scheduled to set up an O.V.I. checkpoint inside the village of Genoa.
It's set to run later in the evening, from 11 p.m. - 1 a.m., during peak bar hours.
Depending on how long the game goes , you could end up driving through the checkpoint on your way home.
The sheriff's office and state troopers will then conduct what they call "saturation patrols," covering that area with beefed up enforcement into the early morning hours.
