Dozens of dogs will fill a Perrysburg park on Saturday for the Wood County Humane Society's Mutt Strut. The event will include a walk, a doggie alumni parade, and a beauty pawgeant which will be judged by two of our own here at 13abc.
All the money raised will go to help care for the homeless and abused animals at the shelter. It will also help pay for special programs like the cruelty investigation division, a spay/neuter program and safe pets, which helps people escaping domestic violence situations get temporary care for their pets through the humane society.
The walk is at the WW Knight nature preserve on White Road in Perrysburg. Registration begins at 9:30 a-am and the walk begins at 10. 13abc's Lissa Guyton and Geoff Cornish will be judging the "beauty pawgeant." which starts at 11-30.
