We have new details on a
brutal beating inside the state prison in north Toledo Thursday.
According to an Ohio
State Highway Patrol report released Friday afternoon, the victim was attacked
by three inmates inside a cell at Toledo Correctional Institution.
A lieutenant told 13abc Thursday
that an incident led to one inmate strangling the victim.
The report says the
victim was taken to Mercy Saint V's with life-threatening injuries.
Friday evening, a prison
spokesperson would not release the victim's name or any additional details on
the incident.
