If you're heading to Cedar Point for Halloweekends today don't plan on riding the Windseeker.
The ride is closed for inspection.
That's after a Windseeker clone at Knott's Berry Farm malfunctioned, leaving riders in Southern California stranded high above the park for nearly 3 hours.
Now, the parent company, Cedar Fair, which is based in Sandusky is temporarily shutting down all 6 Windseeker rides at its North American parks.
No one was hurt during the mishap.
Cedar Fair says it will conduct an internal review to determine why the ride's safety system has caused automatic shutdowns.
