
ANN ARBOR – Toledo finished in sixth place out of 14 teams with a team score of 959 following Sunday's final round at Michigan's Wolverine Invitational.
Senior Allison Schultz registered second Top 10 showing of the 2012-13 campaign with a 19-over par 232 (78-76-78) to tie for sixth place. Junior Kate Hoops tied for 29th place at 29-over par 242 (81-79-82), freshman Sathika Ruenreong tied for 33rd place at 243 (85-80-78) and sophomore Jennifer Elsholz tied for 41st place at 33-over par 246 (84-82-80). Rounding out the Rocket lineup was sophomore Becky Martin tied for 62nd place at 41-over par 254 (83-91-80). Freshmen Morgan Salm (85-90-79=256) and Emily Dixon (85-89-82=256) also competed as individuals and tied for 62nd and 67th place, respectively.
Michigan (308-308-314=930) and Florida International (312-306-312=930) tied for the tournament title and were followed by Eastern Michigan (312-311-310), Xavier (316-311-306) and Illinois (314-315-304) in a three-way tie for third place.
There was also a three-way tie for medalist honors with Florida International's Meghan MacLaren (74-74-79), Michigan's Alicia Weber (75-76-76) and Eastern Michigan's Alyssa Kwon (75-75-77) at 14-over par 227.
The Rockets will return to action in three weeks when it competes in The Preview on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 15-16
