Temperatures fell to their lowest point since April 29th early on Monday. Monday's lows fell to the middle 30s for most of southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio. Hillsdale was the warm spot with a low of 38 degrees due to a light southwest wind. The wind was calm in Monroe with a low of 34 degrees. Monday's frost comes nearly 2 weeks earlier than average, but it isn't the earliest ever recorded. The areas earliest frost on record was on August 29th. The latest 1st frost of the season was on November 3rd. While frost did occur on Monday, it was not considered a freeze, which occurs when the temperature falls to 32 degrees or lower.
