The family of a man shot and killed by police are suing the city of Bellevue.
Back in September of 2010, police shot and killed James David, 60.
According to police reports, David pointed a loaded gun at officers when they approached his porch.
Police shot and killed David on the scene. Now the victim's widow and children are suing the city of Bellevue, the Bellevue police department and the officers involved in David's death.
The family is seeking $500,000 for the alleged civil rights violation.
