Ford Motor Company says it will cut hundreds of jobs in Europe to cut costs.

Ford says the cuts in salaried positions will be voluntary, and the company will also look to trim its budget by reducing expenses.  

The changes come as Ford is faces a drop in demand in Europe. This summer, Ford predicted it would lose more than one billion dollars in Europe.
