Lourdes Golf Finishes 6th at WHAC Jamboree

Lourdes University's women's golf team posted a team score of 377 on Thursday at WHAC Jamboree #3 held at Scott Lake Country Club in Comstock Park, Mich.

The Gray Wolves finished four strokes ahead of Northwestern Ohio to place sixth in the event, which was won by Madonna.  The Crusaders fired a team total of 320, four strokes ahead of host Aquinas

Brooke Darah (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) led Lourdes with a round of 85 over the 5,817-yard, par-72 layout.  She finished eight strokes behind champion Abby Hegan of Aquinas, who won by two after posting a 77.

Roberta Craider (Brecksville, Ohio/Padua Franciscan H.S.) finished second for the Gray Wolves with a 93, one stroke shy of her season's best.  Lindsay Lehman (Sylvania, Ohio/Otsego H.S.) added a 98 while Kaitlyn Breyfogle (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) carded a 101.  Haley Steiner (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert H.S.) posted her collegiate best round of 104 to round out the Gray Wolves' lineup.

Lourdes will return to action on Sunday morning, competing at the Defiance Invitational.  Action begins at 10 a.m. at Eagle Rock Golf Course in Defiance, Ohio.
