Cross Country Completes All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, OH. - The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams completed the All-Ohio Collegiate Championships on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Cedarville, Ohio.

Justin Eilerman led the Oilers for the men finishing in 20th place with a time of 25:14.14, while Tim Majoy came in not far behind in 29th with a time of 29:27.02.

Other finishers for the men were Jacob Hayes (26:22.99), Joe Guerra (27:08.65), Brock Lloyd (27:42.78), and Alex Betts (28:14.44).

As a team, the men finished in 15th place with a total time of 2:11:55.58, and 465 points.

On the women's side, Abigail Magner was the top placer for Findlay finishing 87th with a time of 19:36.46 while Rachel Hosie and Alexa Stults finished 97th and 98th with times of 19:46.94 and 19:48.33, respectively.

Other finishers for the women were Samantha Grippe (19:51.62), Erica Bettac (20:05.95), Samantha Hassen (20:09.51), and Kayla Sandelbach (20:17.06).

As a team, the Oilers finished 18th with a total time of 1:39:09.30, and 509 points.

Both the men and women will be back in action on October 12 for the Wilmington Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio.
