MARQUETTE, MICH. - The University of Findlay volleyball team came from behind to defeat Northern Michigan 3-2 (16-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-12) on Saturday, September 29, in Marquette, Michigan. The Oilers improve to 7-6 overall with a 4-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Juniors Danielle Taflinger and Mackenzie Vorst paced the Oiler offense with 11 kills each, which also gave Vorst a double-double with 12 digs.
Junior Brittany Hall supported Findlay with 15 digs. Sophomore Amanda Calhoun had 34 assists.
Taflinger and senior Andrea Holthaus both generated four blocks.
