Riders check out fall colors, raise money

Harry Hughes Horsemen's Haven hosted their 34th Ride-a-Thon Sunday.

They rode horses through Oak Openings, getting a look at the start of fall colors. Money raised through the event helps with the upkeep and improvement of the equestrian center.

Event Organizer Mary Staler said, "It goes towards projects we may have, like we put a new roof on that garage this summer.  We did the driveway and we got a couple of big projects that need to be done."

Trail riders were treated to lunch after the Ride-a-Thon.
