The city of Perrysburg is considering switching to automated trash pick-up.
Our media partner, The Toledo Blade says council will hear the proposal tonight that includes buying 4 automated side-arm trucks and each resident would receive two 96 gallon bins for trash and recycling.
City leaders say the switch will cut down on employees and increase the amount of recycling the city can sell.
City council will hear the proposal at tonight's 6:30 meeting.
