4 indicted for cheating at Hollywood Casino

Posted: Updated:

Four more people have been indicted for cheating at Hollywood Casino Toledo, bringing the total number of people charged with cheating to 17.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission says all of the cases involve the changing of bets at Toledo's casino. The four men face a combined 12 felony counts.

According to the indictments, Nesan Gorgis and Mhartez Lenard both face one felony count each. David Taylor is charged with four felony counts, and Lance Carlton is facing six felony counts for allegedly cheating at the casino.

The director of enforcement at the Casino Control Commission says two of the men were caught pinching their bets, or pulling back their original wager.

The others are accused of capping their bets, or adding to them after the cards are dealt.

Casino regulators say people trying to cheat has been fairly steady, but, with the use of an extensive surveillance system and security on the floor, many are being caught.

The dollar amounts involved in these latest cases have not been released. We're told all four men could face time behind bars.
