CLEVELAND – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will be featured on regional or national television a minimum of three times during the 2012-13 season through the Mid-American Conference television package. All three contests are BGSU home games.
The Falcons' television slate will begin Dec. 18 on ESPNU as BGSU hosts Michigan State at 7 p.m. The final two games will both be televised on SportsTime Ohio (STO). Bowling Green's MAC home opener against Eastern Michigan on Jan. 12 will be televised and the contest will be moved to a 6 p.m. start (from an original 2 p.m. tip-off time). Finally, BGSU's home game against Akron on Jan. 30 will be televised by STO at 7 p.m.
Bowling Green will also have the opportunity to appear on television multiple other times as there are five wildcard dates for STO and five more for the ESPN family of networks. The televised contests will be selected 21 days prior to the date of the games. As well all MAC Tournament contests beginning with the second round will be televised on either STO or ESPN2.
