A Toledo police officer on a motorcycle was involved in an accident Friday afternoon. It happened on the 3400 block of Monroe Street near South Cove around 2:45 p.m.
Investigators say
officers were trying to catch up with the car, when the motorcycle hit it from
behind.
No further details are
being released, and it's not clear if the driver stopped short.
The officer was
conscious and talking when transported to the hospital. The driver of the car
was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
