The Draconid meteor shower will peak overnight Sunday into Monday morning (October 7-8th). The Draconids are not a big meteor shower on average. About 10 meteors per hour are expected. Every once in a while the Draconid meteor shower has some unexpected bursts. Last year some Europeans saw a faint but active shower with several hundred meteors per hour. The sky is expected to clear out for Sunday night, but it will be very cold as well. Temperatures are forecasted to fall below the freezing mark.
