Rainfall Recap - Friday / Saturday Totals (Oct. 5/6)

TOLEDO, Ohio -

The cold front that delivered the Novemberlike air also produced some soaking rainfall as the workweek ended.  In general, rain totals ranged from a quarter inch or less in Southeast Michigan, to near 1/2" across the Toledo Metro area, to more than an inch in our southern counties.  

Here are the totals from Friday into Saturday.  Most of this fell on Friday.

Lima, OH: 1.17"
Findlay, OH: 1.03"
Marion, OH: 0.83"
Toledo Executive Airport (OH): 0.53"
Defiance, OH: 0.51"
Toledo Express Airport (OH): 0.46"
Jackson, MI: 0.26"
Battle Creek, MI: 0.26"
Ann Arbor, MI: 0.25"
Adrian, MI: 0.17"

Any additional showers through the rest of the weekend should be slim, with 0.10" or less expected.  Drier, brighter, and eventually milder weather will return on Monday afternoon, and especially on Tuesday afternoon.

    Toledo police shot and killed a man with a gun early Thursday morning. Police say officers were patrolling in the 1000 block of Page Street around 12:30 when they saw a man pointing a gun at a woman.
    A Toledo police officer shot and killed a man overnight. Police say the man was standing over a woman with a shotgun. We’re told the woman is now thanking the officers for saving her life.
