Buddy Walk event raises awareness for Down Syndrome

People with Down Syndrome and their friends and family were out in full force Sunday for the annual Buddy Walk.

The Buddy Walk draws more than 1,000 people every year. Everyone is invited to attend, including families of those with Down syndrome

The Buddy Walk on the University of Toledo's campus. Funds raised through the event are used to support the National Down Syndrome Society's education, research and advocacy efforts.
