
FINDLAY - The University of Findlay women's golf team concluded the William Bing-Beall Classic on Monday, Oct. 8 at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. The Oilers, who shot a 316 on Sunday, came back with a 328 on Monday to finish the tournament in fourth place with a score of 642.
Ferris State University was the top finisher amongst the 15 teams in the tournament as they fired a 617 (305, 312).
Lauren Vogt tied for fourth place to lead Findlay as she carded a 78 on the second day, finishing the tournament with a 154 (76, 78).
Brooke Albers tied for 17th with a 160 (81, 79) while Michele Schambs tied for 24th after registering a 164 (80, 84).
Kasey Petty (79, 93 – 172), Emily Mock (85, 92 – 177) and Hannah Schneider (96, 87 – 183) also competed for the Oilers during the tournament.
The Oilers will hit the course again on Oct. 22-23 as they will compete in the Dayton Invitational. The tournament will be played at the NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio.
