Power outage impacts Valentine Theater show

Posted: Updated:

A message from the Valentine Theater:

"We are in the midst of a power outage effecting the theatre and several other offices. Tonight's [Friday night's] Silver Screen presentation of An Affair to Remember with Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant may have to be postponed. Patrons can call 419.242.2787 to check on progress/postponement."

According to Toledo Edison, power may not be restored by the 7 PM start.  The source of the outage is a cable failure in the underground network.  Power to surrounding businesses has been restored, and crews are working to get Valentine Theater up and running.
