Police chase with 2-yr-old in car ends in crash

A police chase in North Carolina left behind a trail of destruction. Troopers tried to pull over a van for a routine traffic stop, but the driver took off, leading officers on a high speed pursuit hitting 100 miles per hour.

The chase finally came to an end when the driver slammed into a church.

Police say the driver had a two-year-old in the car. The child was seriously hurt in the crash.

The driver faces charges stemming from the incident.
