Gray Wolves Finish Fall with Second Consecutive Victory

AURORA, OH. - Lourdes women's golf team won for the third time this fall, and posted their second consecutive victory, winning the Lourdes Fall Finale on an extremely windy Sunday afternoon at Barrington Golf Club in Aurora, Ohio.

The Gray Wolves posted a team total of 364, easily outdistancing runner-up Jackson Community College.  Brooke Darah (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) earned her second win of the fall as well, turning in an 84 on Sunday for medalist honors.

Lindsay Lehman (Bowling Green, Ohio/Otsego H.S.) carded a season-best round of 88 to earn runner-up accolades while Kallie Breyfogle (Holland, Ohio/Southview H.S.) shot 94 to tie for third, giving the Gray Wolves each of the top three positions in the final standings.

Heather Steiner (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert H.S.) carded a 98 over the 5,272-yard, par-72 layout to round out the Lourdes scoring while Roberta Craider (Brecksville, Ohio/Padua Franciscan H.S.) posted a 102.  Haley Steiner (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert H.S.) added a round of 107.

Darah finished the fall with seven top-10 finishes in nine events including five top-five efforts while Heather Steiner added four top-five finishes.  With the team having now concluded the fall campaign, Darah led the way with an 84.0 stroke average over 10 rounds.
