FINDLAY - Senior Emily Beddoes of the Oilers women's soccer team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday, Oct. 15.
Beddoes led the Oilers to a pair of GLIAC wins at home last week by scoring five goals. She also added an assist and contributed the game-winning goal in each contest.
In the Oilers 3-2 win at home over #4 Grand Valley State, Beddoes scored unassisted early in the second half and then tacked on what proved to be the game-winner with less than ten minutes to play. She then turned around and recorded a hat trick in the Oilers 4-0 win at home against Ferris State. She also assisted on a goal in the win giving her a hand in all four scores.
The Toledo, Ohio native leads the team with nine goals on the year.
