DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Four teachers at an Ohio high school have been placed on paid leave while officials investigate accusations that they participated in a student prank against another high school.
The Dayton Daily News reports that the Belmont teachers broke the rules when they allegedly drove students off campus to pull off a prank against a rival high school.
A Dayton schools spokeswoman said the teachers drove the students to Meadowdale High School to commit a Homecoming prank in which they placed plastic forks in the lawn and paper cups on a fence.
A report says a Belmont student was punched in the face by a Meadowdale student during the prank.
The spokeswoman said students are not allowed to be in employees' personal vehicles without advance permission.
