One person was killed Thursday morning after a traffic accident in Raisin Township in Lenawee County. It happened just after 4:00am at Valley Road and Occidental Highway.
The person who was killed was driving eastbound on Valley and turned north on Occidental when that driver lost control on the curve. That driver's vehicle was broadsided by a vehicle headed southbound.
The driver of the first vehicle was killed instantly; the driver of the second vehicle was transported to Bixby Hospital in Adrian.
An investigation into the crash is underway. The name of the victim has not been released.
