Clinton, 'The Boss' hit trail for Obama in Ohio

PARMA, Ohio (AP) - President Barack Obama's campaign has a pair of rock stars whipping up supporters in Ohio.

Political rock star Bill Clinton and real rocker Bruce Springsteen are sharing the stage Thursday at a campaign rally in suburban Cleveland.

Clinton took the stage first, joking he was thrilled to be the warm up act.

He told a crowd of about 3,000 that Obama had Ohio's back when the auto industry was in trouble and it's time for Ohio to have his back.

Springsteen, making his debut on the 2012 campaign trail, says he came to Ohio because he's thankful that General Motors is still making cars.

He didn't just talk politics, performing several songs including "This Land is Your Land" and "Youngstown," a nod to the working class in northeast Ohio.
