Sheriff may have lead in Arlington creeper case

Posted: Updated:
ARLINGTON, Ohio -

Last week, 13abc told you about a warning to students in Arlington -- a man was allegedly trying to lure kids into his car.

This morning, officers there are saying: Stay alert. He could still be out there.

The Hancock County Sheriff's office is also following a lead on a possible suspect. This comes after two reports last week stating that a man was driving near Arlington High School, asking students to get into his car.

He's is described as white, 50 to 70 years old, bald with a short gray beard, driving an older red Pontiac Grand Am.

The Arlington school district has posted on its website a reminder to students: Stay alert. That same letter says the rumor that the man went up to a pair of girls at the Arlington football game last Friday is not true.
