Cherry Street Mission needs donations for winter

TOLEDO, Ohio -

It has been a pretty nice fall, but cold weather is right around the corner, and Cherry Street Mission Ministries is hoping you can help.

The mission keeps its doors open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing food, clothing, shelter and other services.

They expect to see an increased need this year. If you'd like to help out, the five things the mission needs most are:

  • Toilet paper
  • Laundry detergent
  • Deodorant
  • Razors
  • Meat of any kind

Food donations can be dropped off at the Madison Food Service and Community Center on West Madison Street.

Non-food donations can be brought to the Life Bridge Center on Monroe Street.
