Man hit by car on Summit Street

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Forty-eight-year-old Robert Jones of Gibsonburg, Ohio was hit by a vehicle on Summit Street Sunday night.

Police say Jones was standing near the center line of Summit Street and was struck by Shaneka Morales, 20, of Toledo.

Jones flew several feet and struck his head on the pavement, suffering severe trauma to his head. He was transported to Toledo Hospital for treatment.
