This week is School Bus Safety Week. The Ohio State Highway State Patrol wants to remind citizens of some simple rules to follow when you see a school bus on the road.
The slogan: I See the Driver, The Driver Sees Me
If a bus stops, puts on its flashing light and extends its stop arm:
You must stop at least 10 feet away
If the school bus is on a road divided into four lanes or more:
Only traffic traveling in the same direction needs to stop.
