Nissan recalling some Altima models

Posted: Updated:

Nissan is recalling 13,900 of its 2012 and 2012 Altima models.  It's bolts could come loose and fall out, says the company. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration writes on its website that the vehicles may have been equipped with transverse link bolds and power steering rack bolts that were not put on properly.

The 2012 and 2012 models were made between May 10 through July 26. If you have one of these models, take your car to a local Nissan dealer and they will tighten the bolds.

Call Nissan at 1800-647-7261 if you have questions.
