A school bus accident in Monroe sent children to the hospital Monday morning. It happened around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of West Elm Avenue and Toll Street.
Police say a vehicle collided with the rear end of a Monroe public school bus that was stopped at a railroad crossing.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Seven children were taken to Mercy Hospital for precautionary evaluations.
