Lucas County is putting their voting machines to the test. Board of elections officials are conducting a special test at the early voting center at Summit Plaza to make sure everything's good to go for November 6.
"We test every single machine," says Lucas County Board of Elections Director Meghan Gallagher. "We just need to test one of the polling locations, so what we've done is selected May's Chapel. Five of those voting machines are going to be tested."
After the testing, board members officially set the early voting hours for the three days before the election.
