The Ohio Department of Education
is investigating claims a worker licensed at least six public preschools in the
Toledo area without
visiting any of them.
A department spokesman
says the employee falsified paperwork, showing safety and fire inspections she
never conducted.
The state is sending different
inspectors to follow-up with those schools.
The woman's name is not
being released at this time.
Investigators
with the Ohio State Highway Patrol are handling the case.
