Spaghetti dinner to benefit cancer families today

Today University of Toledo students are hosting a benefit for area families dealing with cancer.

The spaghetti dinner is raising money for Nightingales Harvest, a non-profit food bank for those going through cancer treatments.

Lisa Eisenbach started the charity a few years ago after her best friend was diagnosed with cancer.

Since then the need in Northwest Ohio continues to grow and the charity is expanding.

You can help support local families with cancer today at St. James Lutheran Church.

The spaghetti dinner fundraiser runs from 2pm-6pm at the church on Sylvania Avenue.

All of the proceeds go directly to Nightingales Harvest.
